Getting to the office

We have two office locations: Chevy Chase, MD and Stafford, VA. The Chevy Chase office is on Wisconsin Avenue and is accessible via car and is only 3 blocks down from the Friendship Heights Metro station on the Red line. Our Stafford office is just off of I-95 (Exit 140-Stafford) and is on the famous Route 1.

Parking

The Chevy Chase office has a parking lot located on the corner of the building that can be used for a small fee. Once parked, you can take the elevator up to the 8th floor. Our Stafford office is a stand-alone building with free parking located in the back of the building.

What should I bring to the appointment?

We know that your first appointment can be both exciting and nerve-wracking so we recommend that you bring a list of questions with you that you may have. You can also bring any medical records, implant cards or pictures that you think may be helpful.

Before Your surgery

The cost to get a cosmetic procedure doesn’t have to be out of reach.

We work with you to determine how to finance your plastic surgery or cosmetic procedure. Some procedures, such as breast reconstruction, breast reduction, and other procedures, may be covered in part or entirely by your medical insurance.

Learn more about our plastic surgery financing options by calling us today at (301) 654-5666. We work regularly with medical credit providers and will work to assist you.

Insurance Options

Belmont Plastic Surgery accepts several forms of medical insurance for certain qualifying procedures. With the complex system of health insurance coverage, it is important to contact us and discuss the procedure you want. We work with you to establish what coverage is available to you and if you have any out of network benefits.

We participate with Medicare and Blue Cross Blue Shield plans.

Financing Options

If any of our patients need it, we are happy to offer CareCredit. For financing from $300 to $25,000, CareCredit offers several plans with low minimum monthly payments that should be able to fit into most budgets.

With the help of CareCredit you can:

  • Have no annual fees

  • Receive your procedure without delay and pay over time

  • Use it for other medical expenses without having to reapply

  • Cover deductibles and treatment not covered by insurance

Day of Surgery

On the day of surgery, most patients are a bit nervous about their procedure so we try to make things as smooth and simple as possible. All of our cosmetic procedures are performed at our fully certified, AAAASF operating suite in our Chevy Chase office. You’ll be asked to arrive at the designated time, approximately 1 to 1.5hrs before surgery. To take the guesswork out of what you should bring, below is a list:

  • Loose fitting clothes that are easy to put on and take off

    • Button up shirts are recommended to avoid having to put anything over your head

    • Elastic waist pants or sweatpants that are easy to get on and off

  • Insurance card and ID if not already on file

  • Prescribed anti-nausea patch

  • Complete Dr. Maiorino’s HYDRATION PROTOCOL on the morning of surgery

A supportive bra and compression garment will be provided to you if necessary for your procedure. You will need someone to be available to pick you up after surgery to take you home.

Out of Towners

We have the privilege of taking care of patients not only from the DC-Maryland-Virginia region but also from all around the country.

For those patients who are from out of town and want to come in a day before the surgery and/or stay a day after the surgery, there is a Courtyard Marriott attached directly to the Chevy Chase office & surgery center. For patients who are from out of town, we arrange to see you the day after your surgery, prior to returning home, for any last minute questions and adjustments to your post-operative garment. This is done to make sure you have the smoothest recovery possible.

Below are a list of hotels in the area that are within walking distance to the office:
