Arm Lift

Brachioplasty

The upper arm area is a place on most people that they wish they could make slimmer and eliminate the arm jiggle when they wave. This area is notoriously finicky and many people who have lost a significant amount of weight will notice that there is redundant skin and soft tissues present that no matter how much they exercise they can’t seem to improve. Thankfully, the area of excess skin and fat in this area can be removed and tightened to improve the contour of the upper arm with a brachioplasty.

Patients who have a laxity or looseness of posterior or back of the arm often due to weight changes (gain or loss) and desire improvement in the contour of their arms are good candidates for a brachioplasty (arm lift). Patients should not have a history of upper extremity swelling and their weight should be relatively stable to optimize results.
